Release Date Unveiled: Symphony of War: The Nephilim Saga, the pixel squad-based tactics RPG crafted by developer Dancing Dragon Games and publisher Freedom Games, expands its universe with the Legends DLC. It’s heading to PCs via Steam on Monday, August 28th, 2023.
New Tales Await the Heroes
Fan favorites such as Antares, Barnabas, and Jaromir will return in the Legends DLC, as voted by the Symphony of War community. Gamers can expect to delve into eight new chapters, flaunting new level design twists on classic gameplay. The additions also include 13 brand-new unit classes, embracing the formidable Dark Mage, lethal Necromancer, and ferocious War Cat.
Facing Challenges in New Game+ Mode
Brave players can embark on the New Game+ Mode after vanquishing the main campaign. Using Memory Fragments, they can retrieve units and artifacts from previous playthroughs, alongside Unique Mercenaries available for newer classes. The New Game+ Mode presents added difficulty and changes to test skills against an undead army or explore how long units can endure until fully maxed out.
Wield Necromancy in Symphony of War
Unlife Energy, a novel resource garnered when dealing damage and defeating enemies, allows players to summon a dreadful army of nightmares. This addition provides an opportunity to replay the Symphony of War campaign, testing abilities and discovering unique strategies to conquer more effectively.

Symphony of War is currently available on Steam and the Epic Game Store in two versions: the standard edition for $19.99, and the Collector’s Edition for $34.97, which includes the soundtrack, artbook, and strategy guide. The game supports English, French, German, Spanish – Spain, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese – Brazil, and Simplified Chinese. The Legends DLC is set to arrive on August 28th, 2023, priced at $9.99, with support for multiple languages.
