The Maestros has announced their closed beta weekend which begins this Friday, May 25th at 5 pm EST. The game will be open all weekend for people to join matches. The Beta runs all weekend and will close on Sunday, May 27th at 9 pm EST.
The Maestros is an online multiplayer RTS which hosts two factions. The clockwork-like Knights of Teutonia or the mutated floral like Alchemists of Regalis. Either faction has to battle across the map fighting the opponents or NPCs which camp various objectives. The game is fast paced with a fun introduction that builds upon mastery for the high level more competitive matches.
The game will be live all weekend to try out. First head out and find and defeat all the minions you can, as they will become part of your own army to use against the enemy. In turn, these can be used to create and much more powerful specialized units to take on the opposing team. The process of upgrading units during the battle is key to victory, as is knowing how to defend and dominate the opposing team.
Maestros is an action strategy game, which allows for a lot of quick thinking in a match. Like a hybrid of League of Legends meets Pikmin.
