TILTIFY ANNOUNCES $6.5M IN SERIES A FUNDING LED BY PACE CAPITAL

Tiltify, the creator-first fundraising platform for the digital generation, today announced $6.5M in Series A funding led by Pace Capital. Tiltify has raised nearly $9M to date.

This round of funding will further fuel Tiltify’s ability to go beyond traditional fundraising, serving the next generation of socially-conscious consumers. The investment will also elevate the Tiltify platform, providing more innovative features and integrations, such as polls, rewards, milestones, visual overlays, and animations.

The Tiltify community activated more than ever this year, raising awareness and driving donations significantly for incredibly important initiatives – from Covid-19 and disaster-relief to organizations focused on equal rights, diversity and inclusion in addition to mental health. In January alone, communities raised more than $2M within the first two weeks for the Australian Wildfires and continues to inspire record-breaking donations with events like StreamAid on Twitch, which raised more than $2.7M in 12 hours. The Tiltify community is on track to surpass $100M total raised for charity partners by the end of this year.

Responsible for powering today’s most popular social media platforms and live streaming services like TikTok, Twitch, YouTube and more, Tiltify will work with new and existing partners  to create more interactive, live and personalized experiences for creators to do good. Most recently Tiltify announced its new Twitch extension to integrate more features while streaming and announced an exclusive partnership with TikTok, developing its first mobile-driven integration, the “Donate” sticker, to make it easier than ever for hundreds of millions of TikTok users around the globe to support their favorite charities and causes.

“This has been one of the most difficult years in recent history for America and around the globe, desperately catalyzing the need to support causes worldwide. Fortunately, our community of creators took to their platforms to leverage their influence for good. This funding will help us accelerate development and team-building to make sure we can deliver the best tools to creators for them to continue supporting charities,“ said Michael Wasserman, co-founder and CEO of Tiltify. “The additional funding from our investors allows us to further support our community of hundreds of thousands of creators that want to connect with today’s digital generation to do good in the simplest and most interactive way possible.”

As part of this announcement, Chris Paik, general partner at Pace Capital will join Tiltify’s Board of Directors.

“Tiltify is catalyzing an emergent, online behavior and ushering in a new era of philanthropic activism,” says Paik whose portfolio of investments include groundbreaking companies such as Twitch, Unity, and Patreon. “As Tiltify continues to expand its offerings to creators, donors, and organizations, we believe the company is uniquely positioned to shape the way we learn about, support, and champion charitable causes globally.”

Founded in 2013, Tiltify harnesses the power of both traditional fundraising and modern live streaming platforms to help any organization dramatically expand their audience reach. The company touts more than 2,000 charity partners and a community consisting of today’s leading creator talent – from professional streamers and gamers to TikTok stars, A-list celebrities and YouTube influencers including Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, CourageJD, DrLupo, Jordan Fisher, Emilia Clarke, Vin Diesel, and Pokimane, among others.
