SEGA of Europe and Creative Assembly are set to release the Shadows of Change DLC pack for Total War: WARHAMMER III on August 31st. This expansion offers players an enriched gaming experience with new Legendary Lords, unique campaign mechanics, and a range of new units and battle abilities.

- The Changeling from Tzeentch: A master infiltrator who is skilled at manipulation and causing conflict.
- Yuan Bo from Grand Cathay: A formidable leader of the Jade Court, Yuan Bo is a spymaster, spellcaster, and warrior.
- Mother Ostankya from Kislev: A powerful sorceress, she is on a quest to harness forbidden Hexes and grow her arcane strength.
2. Unique Mechanics
- The Changeling’s Scheme: Focuses on building cults within enemy cities and manipulating characters to execute the Ultimate Scheme.
- Yuan Bo’s Diplomacy: Yuan Bo harnesses his influence to strengthen Cathay, move armies unobstructed, and reduce corruption.
- Mother Ostankya’s Quest: She seeks forbidden Hexes, particularly the Malediction of Ruin, and uses them to create powerful spells.
3. New Units Introduction
For Tzeentch: Players can now command the Blue Scribes, Tzaangors, Cockatrice, and the Mutalith Vortex Beast.
For Grand Cathay: The roster includes the Jade Lion, Jet Lion, Onyx Crowmen, and the Celestial General.
For Kislev: The expansion brings the Hag Witch, Elemental Incarnate of Beasts, The Things in the Woods, and the Akshina Rangers.

Every Total War: WARHAMMER III owner can now unlock the Legendary Hero Aekold Helbrass at no additional cost. This character, reborn as a Champion of Tzeentch, is a must-have for fans. Alongside this, Patch 4.0 will roll out, introducing improvements to campaign AI, garrisons, new landmarks for legacy factions, and expanded difficulty settings.
