Publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio have unveiled the details and updates for Domain 9 Sector, the highly anticipated 3.0 expansion of Tower of Fantasy, the popular free-to-play, open-world MMORPG available on PC and mobile devices. Scheduled to launch on June 27th, this expansion introduces players to the mysteries of a long-forgotten realm through a brand new map, two new simulacrums, and exciting new bosses and gameplay challenges.
Exploring the Forgotten Realm of Domain 9
Nestled within the Aida Spacetime Singularity of the Vera Grand Sea, Domain 9 may initially appear similar to the outside world. However, due to space-time barriers, it has remained isolated from the rest of Vera for over a century, earning it the moniker of the ‘Forgotten Realm.’ Deep within its borders, the inhabitants of Domain 9 have stumbled upon a special site called the Black Jade Ruins. Through years of dedicated research, they have harnessed the power of Timestamps, developing advanced technology crucial in their ongoing battle against the formidable Grayspace Entities known as Darkness.
The Four Zones of Domain 9
Domain 9 encompasses four distinct major zones, each drawing inspiration from the design elements of the Four Symbols, mythical creatures from ancient culture. Wanderers exploring the new map will witness firsthand the technological prowess of Domain 9 while engaging in an array of challenging in-game puzzles and tasks. The 3.0 update offers an abundance of content, introducing novel modes of exploration such as relic Speedwalkers for traversing the skies and new cruisers. Additionally, players will encounter new gameplay features like the New Smart Servant System and New Mentorship System, designed to assist Wanderers during demanding combat situations and facilitate mentorship relationships among players. Furthermore, a formidable new boss named Zhuyan awaits daring adventurers, having been inadvertently awakened within the depths of the Black Jade Ruins.
Introducing Two New Simulacrums
As part of the 3.0 update, Tower of Fantasy introduces two new simulacrums, further enhancing the gameplay experience. The first simulacrum, LiuHuo, assumes the role of overseeing the imprisoned Darkness.
