UNICEF UK and Outright Games Join Forces for Children in Need

UNICEF UK and Outright Games have officially announced their partnership, marking a significant milestone as the first-ever collaboration between the UK arm of the United Nations Children’s Fund and the video game industry. This partnership aims to support UNICEF’s work in helping vulnerable children in over 190 countries across the globe.

Outright Games, a leading global publisher of licensed children’s video games, has an impressive portfolio that includes popular franchises such as Transformers, DC’s Justice League, Peppa Pig, and Star Trek. The company’s commitment to creating safe, family-friendly gaming experiences has made them the perfect choice for UNICEF UK’s first official partnership within the video game industry. Funds raised from this collaboration will be directed towards UNICEF’s Resources for Results Fund, which allows UNICEF to quickly assist those in need during humanitarian emergencies.

The partnership will officially commence on April 28th with the launch of the ‘Hasbro Kids Bundle.’ This charity bundle features hit games such as ‘TRANSFORMERS BATTLEGROUNDS,’ ‘My Friend Peppa Pig,’ and ‘PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night,’ with 100% of the profits going directly to UNICEF. Outright Games has pledged to raise a minimum of £200,000 each year through the sale of special video game bundles, which will include some of the most beloved names in children’s entertainment.

In addition to the Hasbro Kids Bundle, more high-profile video game charity bundles are planned for 2023, showcasing the best titles from Outright Games’ industry-leading licensing partners. The partnership will also involve other major activities taking place around key milestones throughout the year, fundraising efforts from Outright Games’ global teams, and charity livestreams featuring the company’s ambassadors.

This long-term partnership between Outright Games and UNICEF aims to leverage the company’s access to iconic children’s brands to raise funds for the Resources for Results Fund, which focuses on pioneering new solutions to challenges faced by children worldwide while providing rapid assistance during humanitarian crises.
