Closure Announcement for the Wakerunners Project
Wakerunners, a project that debuted its demo during the last Steam Next Fest, has officially announced the cessation of its development. The team behind Wakerunners communicated their decision to discontinue the project, emphasizing the substantial enhancements required to reach the desired quality and enjoyment levels.
A Grateful Farewell to the Community

Steam Store Page to Be Removed
In line with the project’s closure, the Wakerunners Steam Store page is slated for removal in March. The team assured that further details regarding this process would be communicated to the community in due course.

We’re here to say a final goodbye to our beloved community.
After releasing a demo at the last Steam Next Fest,
we’ve made the difficult decision to halt the development of Wakerunners.Our goal was to showcase the unique color and fun of Wakerunners, but we realized that significant improvements were needed to achieve the level of quality and enjoyment we envisioned.
As a result, we’ve decided to permanently close the project rather than continue development.
We cannot express our gratitude enough to all of you – our dedicated runners – for your invaluable feedback and support. It means the world to us.
