Verdun Celebrates Christmas Truce with Charity and Giveaways
The developers of Verdun are commemorating the Christmas Truce of 1914 with an in-game event for PC players. Every few battles players can experience the truce for themselves, with a game of football, snowball fights, or sending postcards. The event will last until January 4, and Verdun is 60% off in the Steam Winter sale until then!
A temporary DLC allows players to access the Christmas Truce at any time and unlocks a Christmas Truce 2017 medal, with all net revenue going to the War Child charity. They work to support children affected by war or growing up in conflict zones around the world.
