Success in Yomi 2 hinges on the ability to read the opponent’s actions and anticipate their strategies. By effectively countering their moves and disrupting their momentum, players can launch devastating offensives driven by a wide range of fighting systems. Employ standing blocks to defend against high attacks, crouch to block low strikes, foil throw attempts, and halt zoner characters from amassing a hand size advantage while they control the battlefield with long-range fireballs. At the launch of Early Access, players will have the opportunity to select from a roster of nine unique characters, with additional fighters planned for future updates. Big fan of Yomi over here. I have all the physical decks double-sleeved for safekeeping. And I easily have over 800 hours played across the digital versions. It’s ridiculous that the digital version of Yomi still has crossplay between Steam & iOS.
Sirlin doesn’t seem to always get the benefit of the doubt, so it’s cool to read an article like this that was actually pretty positive. I just wish that was more common.
