Korean developer and publisher Pearl Abyss has unveiled a brand new territory, Ulukita, for Black Desert Online (PC) players. The region is home to two new monster zones, ‘Tungrad Ruins’ and ‘City of the Dead’, designed for high-level play. Along with the new hunting ground, players can discover valuable items like “Origin of Dark Hunger” and “Essence of Hunger”, as well as new treasure item “Lafi Bedmountain’s Improved Telescope”.
The Exalted Land: Ulukita
High-level players can now roam into the Exalted Land of Ulukita, a high desert territory with a mini Grand Canyon-like appearance located in South Mediah. The monster zones present new challenges with demanding enemies requiring players to be fully geared up and prepared to learn new combat tactics.
The specifics of the new hunting ground include:
- Tungrad Ruins: Recommended AP 320 and recommended DP 410
- City of the Dead: Recommended AP 310 and recommended DP 380

Black Desert Console Players Rejoice for Four-Year PlayStation Celebrations
In addition to the expansion on the PC front, Black Desert Console (PlayStation) players have a reason to rejoice as well. Pearl Abyss is celebrating the four-year anniversary of Black Desert on PlayStation with two weeks of in-game rewards, gifts, and events starting today, August 23rd, through September 6th. Fresh log-in rewards for both new and returning Adventurers will commence on August 24th.
