Supercell Announces Game-Changing Update
Brawl Stars fans, gear up! Supercell has just unveiled details about the HYPERCHARGE update set to drop on September 5th. The update aims to elevate Brawlers’ Supers, making them more formidable and adding an extra layer of strategy to the game’s core mechanics.
Cinematic Teaser Unveils Hypercharge in Action
A cinematic teaser has been released, showcasing five iconic Brawlers ready to let loose their Hypercharge. If you’re a newbie or a seasoned player, the update promises to redefine your gameplay experience.
New Strategic Depth with Hypercharge
Hypercharge will unlock at Power Level 11, allowing each Brawler’s Super to be significantly upgraded. This includes boosted speed and stronger normal attacks. The first Brawlers to get this update are Shelly, Colt, Bull, Spike, Jacky, and Pearl.
Brawl Stars Goes Back to Ranger Ranch
The game’s theme for the season is a trip back to Ranger Ranch, home to Colt, Shelly, and Spike. Expect a rowdy set of Wasteland skins and the introduction of new characters like Belle and Sam, who come with an oven-bot called Pearl.
Meet Pearl and Chuck: The New Brawlers
Two new Brawlers are coming to the game:
- Pearl (Chromatic): Her Trait, Heat, increases her damage over time. Her attacks and Super are based on her oven, making her a unique addition to the roster.
- Chuck (Mythic): Starts with his Super fully charged and offers a unique gameplay style involving Signs and dashing mechanics.
Hypercharge Collector’s Packs
Hypercharges will initially be available in the Shop as part of Collector’s Packs. After two weeks, they can be purchased with Coins directly from the Brawler’s profile screen.
Limited Time Event: Hypercharge Unleashed
A special event where players can test out the new Hypercharges will also take place. You even have a chance to snag Shelly’s Hypercharge for free!
Skins and Cosmetic Items Galore
A variety of new skins themed around Wasteland and Brawl Academy will be rolling out. Cosmetic items including Pins, Sprays, and special animated Profile Icons are also on the way.
Balance Changes and More
Keep an eye out for an array of balance changes, including buffs and nerfs, along with new maps and slight adjustments to game modes.
