Deck of Ashes – Quarantine Diaries

Deck of Ashes, the hardcore story-driven RPG with a card-based tactical combat system launches out of Early Access on PC (Steam) in less than a week. The game by the Russian studio AY Games has been in development for two and a half years and while in Early Access the dev team added a plenty of adjustments and improvements – many of them through the constant contact with the game community.

To celebrate the long-awaited full release of the game on the 9th of June, the developers agreed to share their experience and to reveal the background of Deck of Ashes in the form of the “diaries” while carefully respecting the self-isolation and quarantine measures.

In the first of two parts, you will:

  • Learn the game basics,
  • Find out where the developers find their inspiration
  • Get a glimpse of developing process
  • Discover the special Day one bonuses for fans!

Deck of Ashes has been in Steam Early Access since April 2019 – and is increasingly popular among the card battler fans keen to share with the developers a huge amount of feedback!

The release version of the game brings you many improvements including:

  • New character with a new story campaign and three card archetypes
  • The epilogue to conclude the game story
  • Full Russian localization

The special “Day one Edition” will be available for only two weeks following the release on June 9. This edition comes with digital bonuses such as the expanded art book, HD wallpapers, all character skins and the personal gratitude from the dev team!
