Gameloft, a leading game development and publishing company, has announced the highly anticipated Season 2 content update for Disney Speedstorm. This update, titled “To Infinity and Beyond,” is now available in Early Access on various platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 (PS4 ), PlayStation 5 (PS5), and PC. With this latest season, players can look forward to an array of exciting new features, including beloved Disney and Pixar characters, a new racing environment inspired by Pixar’s Toy Story, innovative game modes, and much more.
The highlight of Disney Speedstorm’s Season 2 update is the addition of iconic characters from the Disney and Pixar universes. In addition to the new racers and racing environment, Disney Speedstorm’s Season 2 update introduces two innovative game modes: “Color Match” and “Follow the Leader.” These game modes offer fresh and exhilarating ways to compete on the track. In Color Match, players can gain an edge by speeding through skill boxes that match their racer’s color, granting them a sudden boost. However, players must be wary of boxes with opposite colors, as they will temporarily stun the racers. In the Follow the Leader game mode, racers leave behind a visible trail that other players can follow to earn a boost. However, players can strategically use cloak skills to make their trail disappear and prevent opponents from taking the lead.
