Angela Game and Imperium Interactive Entertainment, Ltd. revealed today that their upcoming competitive real-time strategy game, Iron Conflict, is entering Early Access on Steam on Jan. 8, 2021. The game will be available at a price of $14.99.
Featuring hundreds of units spanning from the end of World War II to present day, Iron Conflict is a real-time strategy game (RTS) that places competitive play at the forefront of its handcrafted map design, tasking players to lead their unit formations through tense and harrowing conflicts of war. Powered by Unreal Engine 4, the game features photorealistic battlegrounds such as deserts, rural farmland, and hilltops that are playable in 10v10 competitive online multiplayer battles, with additional maps and modes to launch throughout its early access period.
Iron Conflict features a vast arsenal of weapons and vehicles at players’ command, including iconic planes and tanks, like the B-2 Stealth Bomber, F-35 fighter jet, M1A1 Abrams and the Type 96 tank, and a variety of fearless infantry units. Ground-based anti-air cannons, artillery and surface-to-surface missile launchers are also available to use in the heat of battle. Meanwhile, players can outfit each of the three main unit classifications with unique modules, accessories and special ammunition types that can improve individual stats and provide a competitive edge in a variety of situations.
