Hey gamers, mark your calendars! DreadXP, the heavy-hitters in horror game publishing, have teamed up with indie horror game aficionado Hürcan Köse (HorrorVisuals) and The Media Indie Exchange (The MIX) to bring you The Indie Horror Game Showcase. Set to livestream on October 19, 2023, the event is jam-packed with world premiere announcements, fresh trailers, and the latest updates from the horror gaming scene.
Who’s Bringing the Chills?
The showcase will feature an eclectic blend of independent studios ready to haunt your gaming rig. Keep an eye out for Raw Fury presenting “Post Trauma,” Nightdive Studios with “System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition,” Ysbryd Games flaunting “World of Horror,” Akupara Games showing off “Sorry We’re Closed,” and many more. Additional studios include Torture Star Video, Wired Productions, Vincent Adinolfi, Atari, Beautiful Glitch, and a ghostly array of others.
Creepshow Joins the Horror Party
DreadXP isn’t holding back any scares. They’ll be giving fans the first glimpse of their upcoming video game adaptation of Shudder & Cartel’s horror anthology series, Creepshow. Slated for a 2024 release, the Creepshow game will feature the creative minds of multiple independent developers, with Brian Clarke of DarkStone Digital donning the hat of creative director.
More Frights in the Pipeline
Expect more than just the standard scares. DreadXP plans to roll out additional updates during The Indie Horror Game Showcase, including news on the Lovecraftian dating-sim sequel “Sucker for Love: Date to Die For,” latest developments on cosmic horror RPG “Dread Delusion,” and the reveal of four new bone-chilling titles.
