After a year-long battle, the epic finale to RuneScape’s Elder God Wars saga launches today. The must-play update will decide the fate of RuneScape’s world of Gielinor bringing a close to the wars of the Elder Gods and delivering challenging combat and high-level questing content.
Elder God Wars: Extinction quest will allow players to earn rich and innovative rewards, including brand new skilling areas with access to high-tier resources for the expert fishers, hunters, crafters, fletchers, constructors, and botanists.
Elder God Wars: Extinction is the first major RuneScape release in 2022 and is the closing chapter of the Elder God Wars storyline, which began more than a year ago and has since seen multiple battlefronts and cameos of beloved characters from across RuneScape’s epic 20-year history. This also marks the first Grandmaster Quest since 2016, which means that this content will be a challenge for even the most experienced adventurers.
