Elder Scrolls Online Update 39: Base Game Improvements
The Update 39 base-game patch has arrived on PC/Mac, bringing with it a series of long-awaited enhancements and additions to The Elder Scrolls Online. This patch is free for all existing ESO players and will be available for Xbox and PlayStation consoles on September 5th.
Quest & Content Improvements for Newbies
New players in Tamriel can expect a gradual introduction to quests, reducing the volume and frequency offered to low-level characters. Tamriel’s navigators, who transport characters between destinations, have also received updates, now providing indications for locations tied to tracked quests.
Streamlining Inventory Management
The update adds key changes to inventory management. Similar Crown Store items can now be stacked using the “Stack All Items” option. Improved communication about sellable items also assists players in identifying and clearing unwanted items.
PVP Upgrades & Fresh Loot
Three new monster mask sets along with improved death notifications, Treasure Scamp Drop Boosts, and more await PVP players. Rewards and enhancements contribute to a more engaging PVP experience.
Home Editor Enhancements
Update 39 enriches the home editor experience with features like Preview Crown Furnishings, allowing players to visualize items in their home before buying. Inventory Furnishing Placement also enables placing items directly from inventory and Collections.
Getting Started with Update 39
As a base-game update, PC/Mac users will receive the update via the ESO Launcher. Console players can expect the patch on September 5th. The update is freely accessible to all ESO players without any prior purchase required, except for the game itself.
