– A new esports competition open to players of all levels across the UK – – £1,000 cash prize pool –
GAME today announced the launch of its first grassroots esports competition – the BELONG Arena Clash. The tournament will allow friends across the UK to team up and compete on Call of Duty®: Infinite Warfare at participating BELONG Arenas, with a prize pool of £1,000 up for grabs.
The competition, which spans five weeks from 11th March 2017, is sponsored by Activision and will be open to teams of four players*. Players will be able to enter at five of the new BELONG Arenas in Bristol, Gateshead, Hull, Manchester and Portsmouth.
To get involved in the qualifying rounds (the “Drafts”) of the Arena Clash, players should either signup at one of the five host arenas, or online at www.belong.gg/arenaclash

The Drafts will result in five teams, each representing one of the arenas in the Group stage. Played in a league format starting on the 19th of March, teams will compete each week, racking up points every time matches are won. At the end of the season, the top two teams will face off in a live streamed final from one of the participating BELONG Arenas, for their shot at the top prize, together with team tickets, travel and hotel accommodation for the Call of Duty® World League at Insomnia60 in April.
*Players must be 18 years of age or over to participate in the BELONG Arena Clash.
