This GFN Thursday is packed with some big news – in a landmark move for cloud gaming, NVIDIA is working in partnership with Microsoft as part of a 10-year deal to bring Xbox PC games to GeForce NOW.
The robust Xbox PC library paired with beyond-fast game streaming from GeForce NOW brings more choices and high performance to gamers. GeForce NOW members have the flexibility to stream over 1,500 games across multiple devices, and can soon stream hit franchises including Halo, Minecraft, Elder Scrolls, plus Call of Duty and Overwatch from Activision through Microsoft’s acquisition.
Work on integrating Xbox PC games into GeForce NOW is already underway, starting first with Xbox Game Studios PC games available on digital stores like Steam and the Epic Games Store. It also marks the first time that games available on the Windows Store can be streamed through GeForce NOW. More details to come on future GFN Thursdays for the first games from Microsoft to be added to GeForce NOW.
