The French independent video game developer and publisher, DON’T NOD, has announced the release dates for its latest narrative experience, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie. The game will launch on June 8th for PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch, followed by a release on June 22nd for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

As part of the LudoNarraCon festival, a free playable demo of the game will be available for a limited time. The demo will be accessible from May 4th to May 8th and will span the first act of the game, introducing players to the game’s setting, story, and most of its colorful cast of characters. The demo will also be available until May 21st. Members of the development team will stream the demo on the game’s Steam page.

The game’s brand-new trailer offers a deeper look into Harmony: The Fall of Reverie’s colorful universe and branching pathways. The game takes place in the near future, where players take on the role of Polly, a young woman on a journey to find her missing mother. Along the way, Polly discovers she has the gift of clairvoyance, which connects her to another world, Reverie. In Reverie, Polly becomes Harmony and must restore balance between our world and Reverie, the realm of divine beings known as Aspirations.

Players will have to choose an Aspiration to be the new Heart of Humanity, and use the Augural to see into the future and open new paths. The game’s resources are managed in Reverie, where crystals are gained from making decisions and bonding with Aspirations. These crystals unlock essential nodes in the story and change the course of destiny.

Harmony: The Fall of Reverie features a captivating story, a delightful cast of characters, and a universe rich in lore to explore. It boasts a colorful, lively, and futuristic aesthetic and an outstanding original soundtrack created by the talented and award-winning composer, Lena Raine.

“We’re excited to have the opportunity to participate in this year’s LudoNarraCon alongside many fellow narrative game developers and to introduce players to the universe of Harmony: The Fall of Reverie. We can’t wait to hear everyone’s first impressions of the demo and the enchanting worlds we’ve built,” says Cyrille Combes, Executive Producer of Harmony: The Fall of Reverie.

In conclusion, Harmony: The Fall of Reverie is a highly anticipated narrative experience from DON’T NOD that combines a captivating story, a delightful cast of characters, and a rich universe to explore. Its release on multiple platforms means that players can experience it on their preferred system, and the free demo during LudoNarraCon will give players a sneak peek into the game’s immersive world. The game’s unique mechanics and resources system ensure that each playthrough will be unique, and the outstanding original soundtrack will keep players engaged throughout.
