Hothead Games announces the upcoming release of Hero Hunters, a new team-based third-person shooter game that delivers a thrilling action experience for all mobile gaming fans. The game will release early in 2018.
Players will find themselves projected 50 years into the future, a decade after the “Zero Day” bombing event, when a biological weapon swept the earth and the world cascaded into a violent war that lead to the cold collapse of civilization.
A villainous warlord and traitor, General Kurtz, has taken over a key territorial battleground and has built an army of lethal “Lawgivers” to strengthen his power and control. In this game you must overcome this public enemy and bring back order and justice! Before that, you will need your own firepower, so prepare to go hero hunting!
At launch there will be 40 heroes to hunt for, and Hero Hunter’s dynamic gameplay will allow you to play as any one of them during the battle, so you can play the way that you want. At any time during a battle you will be able to swap between heroes for your own strategic advantage. You decide which hero character to control. Each one offers their own unique skills, strengths and powerful weaponry that can quickly turn the tide of battle.
The extensive campaign mission experience is deep, but also included at launch will be competitive 5-on-5 Real-Time PVP Mode, a Co-op Boss Raid Mode, Gauntlet Mode, Alliances, and weekly events to test all of your skills.
Built using Hothead’s custom Ballistic Engine, the game is a visual onslaught of breath-taking battles accompanied with superfine attention to detail throughout the broken city regions.
