HYTE, the well-known PC components, peripherals, and lifestyle brand under iBUYPOWER, has recently made an exciting announcement regarding its Nexus software. The company has unveiled a series of Powered by Nexus components, accompanied by a new qRGB keyboard called Keeb TKL. This expansion aims to enhance the accessibility and functionality of HYTE hardware through a revolutionary Nexus Link interface, enabling seamless two-way communication between the software and hardware nodes. With these new components, HYTE creates a cohesive lighting universe and brings users closer to their technology.

Nexus Link Interface: Streamlining Connections

HYTE’s Powered by Nexus components come with the groundbreaking Nexus Link interface, which revolutionizes cable management and facilitates efficient communication between the Nexus software and the hardware. Nexus Link combines power, fan control, lighting control, and sensor data into a single connection, drastically reducing clutter and improving the overall user experience. This interface empowers users with never-before-seen qRGB capabilities and control, providing a cohesive lighting ecosystem for various third-party peripherals.

Rob Teller, Product Director of HYTE, expressed the company’s vision of creating a seamless loop of empathy and response between users and their technology. Teller stated, “We’re closing the gap between feeling and function, ensuring your tech isn’t just a tool, but an understanding companion.”

Portal – Bridging Realms

The NP50 Nexus Portal serves as the gateway to the Nexus world, offering fan and lighting control, as well as thermal and acoustic sensing capabilities. Designed to fit into a 2.5″ bay, the NP50 features three Nexus Link Type-C channels, enabling easy connection of HYTE’s suite of Powered by Nexus components. The NP50 also provides legacy PWM fan control and three pin ARGB outputs for seamless integration with third-party components. With a cover shroud to assist with cable management, the NP50 ensures a clean and organized setup.

Link, Light – Infinite Possibilities

HYTE’s PQ10 and PQ30 qRGB Light Strips are integral parts of the Nexus Link ecosystem. These light strips feature 24-bit color depth and smoothly integrate into the system using Nexus Link Type-C connectors. The PQ10 variant offers a 33 cm length with a 20-pixel qRGB array, while the PQ30 boasts a larger 1 m length with a 62-pixel qRGB array. Equipped with neodymium magnets, the PQ Light Strips can be easily attached to any system, and adhesive mounting clips are provided for non-metal surfaces. The PQ10 and PQ30 light strips allow users to unleash their creativity and personalize their lighting setups.

Keeb – Redefining Typing Experience

The Keeb TKL keyboard presents a fresh take on the previously announced KEEB SR65 model. Designed with a tenkeyless (TKL) layout, the Keeb TKL offers 93 remappable keys, allowing users to customize their keystrokes to suit their preferences. The keyboard utilizes Durock Creamy Yellow 55g factory-lubricated linear switches, delivering a smooth and satisfying typing experience. The included Durock V2 gold-plated stabilizers ensure stability and precision. Keeb TKL features a polycarbonate body that diffuses a 155-pixel qRGB array across the surface, beautifully illuminated through the doubleshot, shine-through PBT keycaps. Users can further customize their experience with a dual rotary wheel and dedicated media keys featuring low-profile blue clicky switches for quick access and control. The Keeb TKL connects to systems using a USB Type-C to Type-C cable, ensuring universal compatibility.
