The once-thriving planet of Illuminaria, home to the peaceful and technologically advanced Illumi species, was tragically overtaken by an encroaching darkness that corrupted their world. Despite valiant efforts, the Illumi were unable to stem the tide of darkness. However, before all hope was lost, they devised an automated system to salvage their planet. In Illuminaria, players assume control of this automated system, leading a fleet of robots in a quest to reclaim the planet from the relentless Blight. From resource gathering and management to research and base building, players must guide their android swarm in a race against time to light the beacons and restore light to the land.
What sets Illuminaria apart from other strategy and resource management games is its streamlined mechanics. With just a few taps on the screen, players can effortlessly issue instructions to their forces, witnessing their robot fleet carry out commands throughout the game. Adding variety to the gameplay are the auto battler segments, known as ‘expeditions,’ where players have the chance to acquire rare materials and advance their technology.
