Remember the buzz from the INDIE Live Expo “Summer Spotlight”? Well, those hot titles were back this winter with some juicy news and release dates. Omega Crafter, the open-world crafting survival game by Preferred Networks, hit Steam with its open beta. And if you’re into co-op survival action RPGs, Keen Games’ Enshrouded showed off its latest trailer where you scavenge, craft, and battle mythical beasts.
Playism Brings the Heat with Fresh Updates
Japan’s oldest indie publisher, PLAYISM, dropped some major updates. Get ready for Fight Crab 2, clawing its way onto Steam on February 13, 2024. Bombservice, the brains behind the hit Momodora series, announced the release date for Momodora: Moonlit Farewell, coming on January 11, 2024.
Romance and Sci-Fi Adventures Await
Stromatosoft Inc’s Witch and Lilies offers a romantic twist in their JRPG dungeon-crawler, while Boyhood’s End by WSS playground (of Needy Streamer Overload fame) will make you question humanity. Both are gearing up for Steam releases.
Dutch Delights and Hand-Drawn RPGs
This year’s INDIE Live Expo took a deep dive into the Dutch indie gaming scene. Plus, Fahrenheit 213 introduced TSURUGUHIME, a fully hand-drawn RPG experience. Since 2020, INDIE Live Expo has showcased over 2400 indie games to a whopping 88 million fans.
