Fellow Traveller’s digital narrative games festival, LudoNarraCon, returns for its fifth year, and it is scheduled to run from May 4th to May 8th. LudoNarraCon 2023 will feature 43 exhibiting games, 15 panels and fireside chats, and 36 demos, 18 of which are debuting at the event. All of the events will be streamed on Steam.
This year’s festival will feature three Fireside chats with some of the industry’s most renowned narrative games veterans, including Ron Gilbert, Felice Tzehuei Kuan, and Scott Chen. In addition to these sessions, there will be 12 additional panels that can be watched on Fellow Traveller’s YouTube channel or via the LudoNarraCon Theatre Tab.
During the festival, the 43 exhibiting narrative games will offer behind-the-scenes insights via live streams on their store pages, and 36 developers will provide playable demos. To check out the exhibiting titles, gamers can visit the LudoNarraCon website for full information.
LudoNarraCon is known for replicating the community-led atmosphere and engagement of physical events through a global online format hosted on Steam. Fellow Traveller continues to pioneer the digital game festival, and it’s celebrating the announcement of its latest signing, Times & Galaxy, as well as the one-year anniversary of Citizen Sleeper. Additionally, there will be a major announcement about Suzerain on May 4th.
Copychaser’s next game, Times & Galaxy, is set to take players on an intergalactic adventure as the first robo reporter for the system’s most trusted holopaper, the Times & Galaxy. A playable demo is available, and the developers will provide a behind-the-scenes look with a livestream playthrough of the demo during LudoNarraCon.
Meanwhile, the critically acclaimed RPG Citizen Sleeper is celebrating its one-year anniversary.
