The Squad’s Roster: English Edition

Leading the charge, we’ve got Abubakar Salim, the powerhouse behind Zau and Zuberi. This dude’s not just the brain behind Surgent Studios but also has some serious acting chops, earning a nod from BAFTA. You might recognize his vibes from Raised by Wolves, House of the Dragon, and Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Next up is Tristan D. Lalla, voicing Kalunga, who’s no stranger to the scene with roles in Longshot, Nurses, and Assassin’s Creed Freedom Cry. Then we have Steve Toussaint, aka Bomani, fresh from his gig in House of the Dragon.

Dominique Moore brings Liyana to life, having starred in Horrible Histories, Hotel Trubble, and Paddington Green. Letoya Makhene steps in as Mama, known from Home Wrecker, and Simona Brown voices Sabulana, with her notable performance in Behind Her Eyes. Lastly, Abraham Popoola takes on GaGorib, adding his Star Wars Andor experience to the mix.

Swahili Squad Unleashed

On the Swahili front, Neville Misati voices both Zau and Zuberi, adding some Rafiki flair. Kalunga’s voice, Maqbul Mohammed, comes from Weakness, while Amalie Chopetta, known from Holiday Fiance, lends her talent to Sabulana. Melvin Alusa, from Mission to Rescue, voices Bomani, with Grace Nyokabi as Liyana, and Edith Ithongo’o, famous for Igiza, as Mama.
