Consumers can tailor the gameplay of these, and many more titles, by making single-player gameplay easier or more difficult through a variety of in-game tweaks provided by the PLITCH application. Over the past year, PLITCH has seen significant growth, with more than 40 new titles being made available to gamers each month, in addition to the 800+ update patches to existing games already on the platform. The most used customization options on the platform are spread across a handful of games — Anno 1800, Cyberpunk 2077, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Additionally, the most popular type of mod across all titles is “GODMODE”, which grants characters total invincibility, showcasing players’ desires to get a “helping hand” when playing in single-player and story modes.
