The 40th Anniversary update includes, for the first time ever, helicopters and gliders which are the most requested enhancements from the Microsoft Flight Simulator community. Additionally, Microsoft Flight Simulator fans can look forward to classic airplanes like the 1903 Wright Flyer, the Curtiss JN-4 Jenny from 1915, the beautiful Grumman G-21 A Goose, and the famous Hughes H-4 Hercules, better known as the Spruce Goose. There are also new airports, new missions, and more.

Finally, Microsoft Flight Simulator is releasing City Update 01 today, a free update that uses photogrammetry to near-perfectly recreate five cities in Germany into Microsoft Flight Simulator. Those cities are Hanover, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Bonn, and Cologne.
