Surviving on an alien planet is difficult. Surviving alone is quite the challenge. After a long hibernation, you wake up to find out you are living on a strange planet. You don’t have food, clothes, or any goods so it’s time to start building a shelter, gathering resources, and crafting items to survive in a strange new world. Gamera Games and TARO announce that its 2D sandbox RPG Keplerth will leave Early Access and full release on Steam on May 24th, 2022. The game is available on Steam Early Access for $14.99 / €12,49. To celebrate this announcement, the studio has just made public a new trailer that you can watch below.
The full release of Keplerth will include a couple of new features, the shelter management system, and monster invasions. Players will find a shelter facility crafting table that will allow them to build living and entertainment facilities that will allow them to either increase the number of survivors in their base as well as to make a profit. Monsters will now build camps near the player’s base and siege it from time to time. To avoid potential damage, players will have to create traps and build defensive facilities and armed shelters.
Other new features include the follower system, which will let players create Replica, a powerful follower that can be armed with equipment and weapons and will help the player during battles. Players will also be able to craft a new variety of traps, more dungeon challenges, new events and rewards, new weapons, more shelters and farm management contents, and more NPCs that will visit the players’ shelters.
