Following the success of Nogalious on MSX, we are proud to inform you that this version will also be appearing on Steam on February, 28th.
Nogalious on MSX is a distinct game than the one appeared on PC some months ago.
In spite of the fact that it also includes 5 worlds and dungeons to explore, it contains a particular disposal of platforms and enemies, as well as a slightly different graphical style.
In addition, I would also like to introduce the new Luegolu3go Play Game Services (LPGS), a platform in which you can register leaderboards, scores, payments, and information from both online and offline software.
Download the LGPS Reader to turn your smartphone into a tool to connect your 8-bit games to Internet. The app is currently available on Android devices only but it will soon be released for iOS too.
To scan the LPGS QR code using the camera on your phone, simply point the code you wish to scan and the LPGS Reader will automatically detect it –no need to press any buttons.
LPGS is addressed to game studios, independent developers, students and homebrew creators. The platform is now on beta but we expect marketing it in Q3 2019.
Nogalious is the first game to feature LPGS by showing cross-platform updated leaderboards between users of both the physical and digital versions on PC and MSX.
Funded from Kickstarter with a total of 246 backers, Nogalious will also be appearing on Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year.
Nogalious is the first title of a trilogy of retro-platformers that depicts the story of Nogalious, his daughter Mariet, and the evil Darama. Future titles Mirilla and Dragorieta are expected to appear in 2019.
