Last week, GungHo Online Entertainment America announced that their upcoming real-time strategy mech battler, Volta-X will be hosting its first public beta. Today is the last day to request a beta key: players have until 11:59 pm PDT on July 16 to request a key through the Volta-X site and get their first chance to suit up in their own giant robot and battle it out online!
The beta will be available for one day only on July 18 for PC and run from 9:00am – 9:00pm PDT.
Players who participate will get to experience core features of Volta-X gameplay including:
- Customizing their own Volta robot and batting online against other players in fast-paced strategy PvP combat
- A chance to dive into the first parts of the story mode, which will lay the foundation of the Volta-X journey to come, and meet the accompanying crew
- Creating their own secret headquarters with customizable rooms for the Volta-X crew
