OnePlus and HoYoverse Collaborate on Special Edition Smartphone
OnePlus, in partnership with HoYoverse, announced the launch of the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition at the Mobile World Congress 2024. This launch introduces a smartphone specifically designed for enthusiasts of the popular game Genshin Impact, featuring technology aimed at enhancing the mobile gaming experience. The device showcases an exterior inspired by the game character Keqing, complete with custom design elements extending to the operating system and accessories.
Customized Design and User Experience
The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition offers an exclusive design, drawing inspiration from Keqing and the Electro element. The phone’s exterior adopts an Electro Violet color theme, highlighted by Keqing’s lightning stiletto design. Notably, the device’s top edge features an Electro Etched “KEQING” text. The custom OxygenOS 14 interface immerses users in the fantasy world of Teyvat through specialized app icons, animations, and an exclusive Always-On Display.
Included with the phone is a collectible gift box, containing themed merchandise and accessories such as badges, posters, a Lightning Stiletto-shaped SIM tray ejector, and a violet charging adapter with matching USB Type-C cable.
Enhanced Gaming Performance
Equipped with OnePlus’ latest Trinity Engine and HyperRendering technology, the OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition aims to deliver a vivid, detailed representation of Teyvat with HDR graphics. The integration of HyperBoost technology and the Trinity Engine’s customized tuning reduces game loading times, while a 360-degree antenna ensures stable online connectivity. OnePlus Lab testing indicates that the device can maintain Genshin Impact and up to five additional apps running simultaneously for 72 hours.
OnePlus has announced a $14 million investment in R&D for a Genshin Impact-focused gaming lab, emphasizing their commitment to optimizing game performance on their devices.

The OnePlus 12R Genshin Impact Edition will be available in India, Europe, and North America, with pre-orders starting on February 28, 2024. Prices start at ₹49999, €749, and $649.99, respectively.
