Outpost Games today announced the addition of Duos to its debut game, SOS, an online multiplayer survival game where 16 contestants face off in a 30-minute challenge to escape a dangerous tropical island. In the new game mode, players will be able to invite a partner from their Steam friends list to join them in their attempt to escape La Cuna Island.
In a Duos match, contestants will still get dropped at random spawn points, however, they will start on the same radio channel as their teammate, so they can coordinate and meet up. Duos is a brand new experimental feature actively in development for SOS. Players who want to experience the mode will need to update their game versions to 5.43942.0 to take full advantage of the new feature.
