Joycity announces a new fall update for Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War today.
The update introduces a new storyline “Barbossa’s Memory: Journey of the Revenge” featuring the infamous captains Blackbeard and Barbossa along with the deadly new unique ship, Queen Anne’s Revenge.
A highly requested alert function for monsters is also now available to pirates. Previously, players had to sail away to hunt and loot boss monsters. This new feature alerts players if a nearby boss monster is being hunted by another captain to give the player a chance to reach the monster and rewards first.
The cap on Calypso’s Blessing is now raised to allow players to upgrade their ships even further. Along with the cap increase, more equipment and research options are being added to allow players to apply further customization to their ships.
Players can check out all the new content and features on October 26 when the update is released.
Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War is a mobile strategy simulation game based on the popular “Pirates of the Caribbean” property from Disney. Since game’s release in May of 2017, the game has been downloaded over 2 million times worldwide within first two weeks. The game has seen a massive fan following from North America, Europe and Japan.
