Our friends at Playtra Games have announced their partnership today with the LGTBQ+ non-profit, the It Gets Better Project. The partnership will leverage Playtra’s game, Grid Force, which includes a 45 all-female cast of playable characters and promote the message: It gets better, and the games industry believes in you for LGBTQ+ youth.
The goal is in supporting LGBTQ+ children and young adults to feel as though they belong and are welcome within this industry. Dan Bernardo, Playtra’s founder, is a black gay man and a vocal advocate for what the industry can do to better serve diverse communities.
