Location and Dates
QuakeCon 2023 is slated to take place from August 10th to August 13th at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas. This marks the first physical event in three years, following a series of digital-only conventions.
QuakeCon Inauguration
The event is scheduled to begin at 12:00 pm CT on Thursday with a welcome address from id Software representatives, Marty Stratton and Hugo Martin. This inauguration will outline the weekend’s agenda and highlight special announcements in collaboration with AMD.
The Legendary BYOC

Charity Initiatives
Maintaining its philanthropic roots, QuakeCon 2023 is joining forces with several non-profits. The American Red Cross, a recurrent participant, will be conducting a blood drive for attendees. Other charities gracing the event include 1UpOnCancer, Extra Life, and Trans Lifeline. Additionally, local animal rescue group, Dallas Pets Alive, returns with adorable pets awaiting adoption. Quake Pro League World Championship
In a display of unparalleled skill, the top 20 Quake players worldwide are contending for the 2023 Quake Pro League champion title. Famed Quake players such as K1llsen of BIG Clan, Vengeur and Raisy of Team Myztro, and Rapha from Team Liquid will be part of this global showdown. Matches will be broadcast live, with options available on Twitch Quake, Twitch Quake2, and a 4K stream on YouTube.
