With registration now open and qualifiers starting on September 9th, students across the U.S. are gearing up to represent their campuses and vie for the prestigious title of the best student VALORANT team in the world.

An Inclusive Tournament for Aspiring VALORANT Players
Red Bull Campus Clutch is a grassroots esports initiative that aims to bring together up-and-coming student VALORANT players of all skill levels. Alongside the tournament’s competitive platform, many players have also leaned on resources such as coaching to improve at VALORANT, ensuring they’re always a step ahead. Unlike professional tournaments dominated by seasoned players, this tournament allows young talents to experience competitive gaming like never before. Since its inception in 2021, the tournament has hosted over 800 individual events, attracting a staggering 25,000 participants in its first year and an impressive 30,000 in 2022.
The Road to Glory: Qualifiers and National Final
As part of the Red Bull Campus Clutch, teams of five players will face off in local online and offline qualifiers. The top eight teams from these qualifiers will advance to the U.S. National Final, set to take place in Chicago on November 3rd – 4th. The stakes are high, as the winner of the U.S. Final will earn an all-expenses-paid invite to the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final.
The Global Showdown in Istanbul, Turkey
The grand finale of the Red Bull Campus Clutch will unfold at the prestigious Volkswagen Arena in Istanbul, Turkey. From November 19th – 24th, the world’s top VALORANT teams will converge for an electrifying LAN event to compete for the ultimate title of Red Bull Campus Clutch World Final Champion. Moreover, the victorious team will be awarded an impressive prize pool of $20,000+.
Inspiring Stories: From Campus to the Global Stage
Over the past two seasons, Red Bull Campus Clutch has witnessed remarkable journeys of talented teams and individuals. In 2021, Team Egypt captivated the audience with their stellar performance, putting their region on the VALORANT map. One standout player, Mohamed “shalaby” Shalaby, even caught the eye of pro esports team Team Vitality, landing a spot in their roster.
The 2022 edition of Red Bull Campus Clutch saw new powerhouses emerge and returning squads seeking redemption. Team USA, displaying tenacity and skill, secured the final victory in the breathtaking Estádio do Pacaembu in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Notably, Indonesian prodigy Oliver Budi ‘m0rea” Wangge, who made waves with his remarkable performance at the tournament, later won a gold medal at the South East Asian Games 2023.
