Hello Kitty Friends globally release on 30th Aug
– Global popular character Hello Kitty with a 2-match puzzle game
– Tap two blocks makes it easier than traditional 3-match puzzle games
– Various contents for Sanrio fans such as costume collection and decorating dream room
Hello Kitty Friends, a casual puzzle game based on popular IP of Sanrio, including Hello Kitty, will start a global live service on the 30th Aug.
‘Hello Kitty Friends’ is a puzzle game developed by Super Awesome Inc., which signed a formal contract with Sanrio Digital Korea last year. In addition to ‘Hello Kitty’, the game also features Sanrio’s popular characters ‘My Melody’, ‘Kero Kero Keroppi’, ‘Pompom Purin’, ‘Bad Badtz-Maru’ and ‘Tuxedo Sam’. The game is a touch-based match-2 puzzle game that is easier to play than the existing swipe-based match-3 puzzle game.
In addition, Sanrio fans can collect Sanrio characters of various costumes, and customize part of the game screen with favorite furniture. ‘Hello Kitty Friends’ is a new work of mobile game developer Super Awesome which has introduced ‘Lucky Strike’, a Slot Machine RPG, to domestic and global this year.
Donghyun Cho, CEO of Super Awesome said, “We’ve done a lot to improve graphics and game quality because we use global IP.”, “I think Hello Kitty Friends will feel more of the fun than anticipated in traditional puzzle games,” he said.
