Shardpunk: Verminfall, a turn-based tactical strategy game with RPG, survival, and resource management elements, is set to launch on April 13th, 2023, for Steam and GOG.com. Developed by Sławomir Bryk, Shardpunk: Verminfall will be available in two editions: Standard and Digital Deluxe, priced at $11.99 and $15.99, respectively. Additionally, the game will offer free Blood Pack DLC for all players.
The Standard Edition of Shardpunk: Verminfall includes the base game, which invites players to assemble their teams, scavenge resources, battle hordes of mutated rats, and seek shelter in order to survive. Also included in the Standard Edition is “This is The End” Tech Demo, the first playable version of the game from 2018, which showcases the early development of Shardpunk: Verminfall.
The Digital Deluxe Edition of Shardpunk: Verminfall features all content from the Standard Edition, along with the Official Soundtrack and the Digital Compendium. Composed by Michał Ratkowski, the Official Soundtrack includes 13 dynamic tracks that span 45 minutes, immersing players in the game’s post-ratpocalyptic world. The Digital Compendium provides an in-depth look at the game’s history and features, complete with an interview with Sławomir Bryk, the game’s solo developer. It also contains descriptions of units, enemies, automatons, weapons, and survival tips, accompanied by detailed pixel artwork.
The Blood Pack DLC, available free of charge to all Shardpunk: Verminfall owners, adds an optional layer of gore to the game with brutal and bloody in-game animations. This DLC caters to players who enjoy a more visceral gaming experience.
The Official Soundtrack and the Digital Compendium can also be purchased separately for $2.99 each.
