Wartales, a medieval open-world tactical RPG from developer and publisher Shiro Unlimited, has released its 1.0 version on PCs via Steam, introducing a wealth of new content for players to explore.
In Wartales, notoriety and reputation are key currencies in addition to vast amounts of gold. With the 1.0 launch, players can venture into the Kingdom of Alazar, a new region situated among towering peaks. This intriguing area invites adventurers to uncover the mysterious force that lies within.
Players can traverse snowy mountains and icy fields to discover the truth behind The Wrath of the Eye, a curse that has affected the land of Drombach, unleashing a terrifying power. The updated version features reworked factions of heavily armored Alazarian soldiers and the battle-hardened Inquisition, prepared to face formidable adversaries in the frosty expanse.
In the post-plague world of Wartales, players must recruit skilled companions and obtain and upgrade equipment tailored to each member’s unique abilities. Engage in dynamic turn-based combat, executing deadly strategies to defeat grisly enemies and claim victory.
