International publisher Nuverse and developer SGRA Studio have revealed an official licensed collaboration between their upcoming fantasy RPG, Dragonheir: Silent Gods, and Dungeons & Dragons publisher Wizards of the Coast. This partnership will introduce iconic characters from the Dungeons & Dragons universe into the game and feature voice acting by world-renowned Dungeon Master Matthew Mercer.
Dragonheir: Silent Gods is set to release on PC and mobile devices in the second half of 2023, with seasonal content planned for post-launch updates. The game takes place in the magical high fantasy open world of Adenthia, where players assume the role of the Chosen One and fight against a tyrant three-headed dragon. Players will be joined by adventurers from all corners of the multiverse as they explore ancient caverns and unravel secrets.
The strategic, turn-based combat in Dragonheir: Silent Gods will require players to combine their adventurer party’s strengths and synergies to unleash powerful magic and merciless steel against various monsters. Dice rolls will play a significant role in the game’s combat, adding an element of luck to each situation adventurers encounter.
As part of the collaboration with Wizards of the Coast, iconic characters from Dungeons & Dragons, such as Erttu, the menacing balar demon, and Drizzt Do’Urden, a drow ranger and fabled hero of the North, will appear in Dragonheir: Silent Gods. Seasonal updates will expand the multiverse with new locations to explore, enemies to defeat, and additional iconic characters from the Dungeons & Dragons lore.
Matthew Mercer, the legendary Dungeon Master and prominent figure in the world of Dungeons & Dragons, will lend his voice to Dragonheir: Silent Gods. A series of collaborative activities within and beyond the game will also be launched to engage fans of both the RPG and the iconic tabletop game.
