‘STABLE ORBIT’ THE MOST REALISTIC SPACE STATION SIM LAUNCHES ON SEPTEMBER 27th

BUILD A COMPLEX SPACE STATION, MANAGE YOUR CREW AND SURVIVE METEOR STRIKES IN THE UNFORGIVING DARKNESS OF SPACE. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION.

Green Man Gaming Publishing and Codalyn are over the moon to announce that ‘Stable Orbit’ will be defying the laws of gravity and launching out of Early Access into full release on September 27th. This highly realistic space management simulation game has spent a full orbital rotation around the Sun in Early Access (that’s one year to you Earth dwellers) having undergone consistent and significant updates.

The journey to survive in outer space will see players design, build and control their own space station, with mission success lying firmly in their own hands. Only careful planning and vigilant supervision will keep the crew and space station safe as they manage scarce resources, survive a multitude of disasters and fund the station’s growth by completing research projects. In these calmer moments between disaster, players will be able to enjoy the relaxing feeling of floating through space over a highly detailed and accurate model of the Earth below.

Development studio Codalyn, run by Jim Offerman who previously worked on Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Tomb Raider, has taken on community feedback over the past year and added features throughout this time, such as disasters and calamities, a greater variety of nodes and research paths and of course the unenviable job of waste management aboard your space station. The Early Access launch saw the average user embarking upon approximately 220,000 complete orbits around the earth, equalling about 28 billion kilometers travelled in their own, personal space stations.

Upon its full release on September 27thStable Orbit will be updated to version 1.0 with a major update adding even more community requested features such as strategic orbital management, disasters including meteor strikes & airlock failures and a sandbox mode to allow free form creation of the mother of all space stations.

As Stable Orbit continues its trajectory to launch, expect further updates on the game’s progress before and beyond the official launch.

Space is dangerous. Survival is a challenge.

Design, build and control your own space station. Mission command and control is in your hands and only careful planning and vigilant supervision will keep your crew and space station safe. Manage scarce resources, survive a multitude of disasters and fund your station’s growth by completing research projects.

Stable Orbit is a highly realistic space management simulation game. Set in 2034, an unprecedented ‘All Nations Space Coalition’ has been formed around a shared desire to rebuild mankind’s permanent presence in space. But space is a dangerous place. The only things between survival and your crew suffocating, blood boiling and radiation overdose are the thin walls of the space station.

As Station Commander, can the crew rely on you? In the words of legendary NASA Flight Director Gene Kranz: “failure is not an option!”
