Dramatic Labs has announced the release date for their highly anticipated interactive narrative video game, Star Trek: Resurgence. The game is set to launch on May 23rd, 2023, and will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and exclusively on the Epic Games Store for PC.
Set within the iconic Star Trek universe, Star Trek: Resurgence takes place shortly after the timeline of Star Trek: The Next Generation. Players will experience a gripping story centered around a worker uprising, which threatens the fragile peace between two alien civilizations. As Starfleet intervenes, players will have the opportunity to explore the unfolding conflict and unravel the mystery from two unique perspectives.
Players will assume the roles of First Officer Jara Rydek of the U.S.S. RESOLUTE and Engineering Crewperson Carter Diaz. Rydek is part of a diplomatic envoy led by Ambassador Spock, tasked with resolving the conflict and uncovering the true source of the tensions between the two civilizations. Diaz’s perspective offers insight into how the mission unfolds from the lower decks, as he becomes involved in the events in his own distinctive way.
