3f Interactive is excited to announce that the third and final chapter of the narrative-driven puzzle series Reversion is now available on Steam. Reversion – The Return continues the story of Christian, a citizen of Buenos Aires, Argentina, that has suffered memory loss from traveling through a wormhole. Players will need to explore the city and find friends new and old to discover how Christian came to be in the year 2035 and how Buenos Aires came to be in a militant state.
Reversion – The Return picks up where the second chapter of the series left off while also presenting players with a standalone experience. As Christian, players have escaped a hospital which was heavily guarded by Sergio’s soldiers, the leader of the oppressive paramilitary group that has taken over and ransacked the city. Since his escape, Christian has encountered some allies but his connection to them remains to be uncovered by players.
Players will need to put their sleuthing skills to the test in Reversion – The Return as clues are littered about the city presented in hand-drawn scenes reminiscent of classic point and click detective adventures. Through solving a variety of puzzles and speaking with the citizens of Buenos Aires players will piece together how Sergio came to be in power and most importantly how to thwart him through learning more about The Resistance, a group of citizens dedicated to restoring Buenos Aires to its former luster.
Reversion – The Return offers players both a casual experience with the help of the game’s hint system as well as a more challenging experience for those expert sleuths who choose to forgo any hints. Whether players choose the more challenging or relaxing route in their exploration of Reversion, they’ll be immersed in a stylistic soundtrack inspired by Argentinian tango and fully voiced dialogue as well as hand-drawn cinematics presenting pivotal moments of the game’s story.
Reversion – The Return is now available on Steam and features English, Spanish, German, Russian, Portuguese, and Chinese language support.
