New AR Title Lures People Outdoors for an Exciting Monster Hunt
Independent developer Tag of Joy today announced that Monster Buster: World Invasion, a monster collecting and fighting augmented reality game, is now available on App Store for iPhone and iPad and will be available on Google Play for Android devices in June. Armed with a location based scan and a smartphone camera, players set out to explore the real world surroundings and capture mischievous creatures roaming the neighborhood before the monster invasion gets out of control.

Monster Buster: World Invasion is a monster fighting and collecting title with a twist on reality. Players have to explore the real world in order to discover new monsters, find treasure chests and collect ingredients to create booster cookies and drinks. In order to collect monsters, players face-off their own monsters against the wild ones and use character’s special moves to defeat the untamed creatures. Players’ monsters gain experience with each fight and with each new level reached can increase their luck, attack or defence skills. In addition to augmented reality fights, players can choose ‘Quick Fight’ matches that allow players to fight the monsters without going anywhere. While it allows to gain experience and collect loot, ‘Quick Fight’ mode does not offer the option to capture new monsters therefore still encourages players to go out and explore the real world.
