Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes gave a sneak peek of their anticipated online action RPG, Wayfinder, during PAX East 2023. A new Wayfinder, Venomess, was revealed in an animated teaser, showcasing her lightning-fast abilities and intriguing backstory. Players can register for the next closed beta test on the game’s website.
In Wayfinder, players join forces with fellow Wayfinders to explore Lost Zones and control the chaos caused by the Gloom using the Gloom Dagger. The game will be available in Early Access in May via Founders Packs on PC and PlayStation platforms before its free-to-play release across multiple platforms in the fall. Seasons will be released every three months, featuring new Wayfinders, weapons, zones, and other exciting updates.
Founders Packs will be available at different price points, offering exclusive items and unique rewards, including cosmetics, pets, and mounts. Wayfinder’s Battle Passes never expire, and everything can be earned through gameplay or unlocked with premium currency. Players can also swap which pass they’re progressing against at any time.
