Following the success of the Copenhagen Major in May, Ubisoft and BLAST have released details for the final BLAST R6 Major of Season 2023. The event is scheduled to take place in Atlanta, Georgia, from October 30th to November 12th.
The BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will adopt the same three-phase format as the Copenhagen Major, with the thrilling finale taking place in front of a live audience at the Gas South Arena in Atlanta.
Tournament Phases and Schedule
The BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will consist of three phases:
Phase 1 – Play-In: October 30 to November 2nd
During this phase, teams will compete to secure their positions in the playoffs. However, the Play-In phase is not open to the public.
Phase 2 – Playoffs: November 4 to November 8th
The top-performing teams from the Play-In phase will advance to the playoffs, where they will battle it out for a chance to reach the finals. Similar to the Play-In phase, the playoffs will not be open to the public.
Phase 3 – Finals: November 10 to November 12th
The climactic phase of the BLAST R6 Major Atlanta will take place from November 10th to November 12th. During this period, the Gas South Arena will welcome spectators as the world’s best teams compete for glory in front of a live audience.
