Early Access to Age of Water opened

Gaijin Entertainment and Three Whales studio have announced the second phase of the closed beta test for Age of Water, an online adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic aquatic world. The game is now available for early access, allowing players to explore the vast water-covered Earth of the future.

Guaranteed Participation through Early Access Kits

To ensure participation in the closed beta test, players can purchase one of the early access kits. These kits grant players access to the game and provide additional perks and benefits. Additionally, a select number of players who applied for the free trial on the official website will be invited to join the test.

Storyline and Gameplay

Age of Water follows the journey of a motorboat captain navigating the remnants of a flooded Earth. The surviving population has established settlements on the remaining structures, such as the tops of skyscrapers. As the captain, players excavate artifacts from the depths of the sea, engage in battles with pirates, trade goods for profit, complete story missions, and challenge other players in PvP battles. The game also offers the opportunity to embark on missions with friends.

Customization and Progression

Throughout the game, players acquire resources that can be used to modify their boats or purchase entirely new hulls. These modifications and upgrades enhance the boat’s performance and provide advantages in various aspects of gameplay. Additionally, players have the option to construct their own hideouts, further personalizing their experience in Age of Water.

New Content in the Second Phase of Closed Beta Test

The Age of Water Version developed for the second stage of the closed beta test incorporates feedback from the initial phase. The game introduces new content, such as the ability to engage in caravan attacks and defend caravans from pirates in PvP mode. These additions enhance the gameplay experience and offer players fresh challenges and opportunities for strategic gameplay.

Early Access Packs

Players can choose from two types of early access packs: Premium and Elite. Both packs grant access to the closed beta test and provide exclusive benefits. The Premium Early Access Pack includes a unique Barracuda Team boat, which replaces one of the four regular starting boats. The Elite Early Access Pack, on the other hand, offers not only the Barracuda Team boat but also three Barracuda Team members to replace regular sailors. Both packs also contain in-game currency, which facilitates progress within the game.

Progress Wipeout and Currency Equality

In the event of a progress wipeout upon the game’s official release, all owners of Early Access Packs will start with the same amount of in-game currency. This ensures fairness and equal footing for players who have invested in the early access experience.

As Age of Water enters its closed beta testing phase, players can dive into the immersive world of a post-apocalyptic water adventure and experience the thrill of exploration, combat, and trade on the flooded Earth.
