The upcoming Apex Rising Charity ProAm tournament, an Apex Legends esports event, has announced (RED) as its official and inaugural charity partner. Founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver, (RED) is an organization committed to fighting AIDS. The Apex Rising Charity ProAm tournament will take place on April 20-21, 2023, from 6 pm to 12 am ET and will be streamed live on Twitch.
Tournament Details and Participants
The Apex Legends esports tournament will feature 40 top players from around the globe, including well-known participants such as FaZe Clan’s Snip3down, Nickmercs, and Gent, 100T iiTzTimmy, TSM’s ImperialHal, Sabz, Verhulst, and Reps, NRG Sweetdreams, as well as celebrities like Max Holloway and Ronnie Stanley. The proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Global Fund, one of the largest global health funders.

Jon “Falloutt” Kefaloukos, a former professional gamer and current Apex Legends Shoutcaster/Event Organizer, highlights the importance of bringing communities together around shared passions. The Apex Legends community aims to rally together in support of a significant cause: providing life-saving testing, treatment, and care to those who need it most.
(RED)’s Previous Gaming Event Success
In August, (RED) hosted its second major livestreamed gaming event, “The (RED) Creator Cup.” The event brought together top Minecraft creators from around the world and raised over $350,000 in just three hours. The funds raised were dedicated to the fight against AIDS and COVID-19.
