Delving Deeper with Deep Rock Galactic Season 05
Dubbed Drilling Deeper, Season 05 of Deep Rock Galactic promises an enriched gaming experience with an innovative mission type known as Deep Scan. In this new adventure, players will explore vast caves in search of Resonance Crystals, link them to a scanner, and unearth the lucrative Morkite Geode. The journey doesn’t end there; adventurers will descend into the depths using a Drillevator, combat foes to secure the area, and ultimately harvest Morkite Seeds before a high-flying extraction via Jet Boots.
The season also introduces the Core Stone event, a challenging new difficulty level—Hazard 5+, and over 20 novel cave formations, making each mining expedition a unique challenge. Along with these features, players can look forward to encountering new enemies, acquiring 12+ new overclocks, exclusive DLC armor, and a complimentary Seasonal Performance Pass. A notable addition this season is a toggle feature that allows players to revisit and replay previous seasons, complete with all their seasonal rewards.
